  If you're expecting anything but stupid humor you will be dissappointed. This is a typical Will Ferrell comedy and I love him. Mark Wahlberg was great in this part as well. Driving home,there were many parts of this movie that had me laughing!

  HANDS DOWN the WORST movie I have ever seen. There were only about 10 people in the theatre (never a good sign) and 4 of them left halfway through. My husband and I would have left as well, but our son and his friend were watching a different movie at the same time so we knew we'd have to wait for them anyways. I can count the laughs on one hand. Will Ferrell was good in his character but not even he could pull this one out of the toilet. Save yourself the $12 and stay away from this one (and then save yourself the $5 when it comes out on video--it's not even worth that much). Sure Razzie frontrunner.

  I loved this movie. I did like the attempt to give every character a little bit of screen time to give us a look at their backgrounds and such. It was nice to see since most people would claim characters were under developed etc on a lot of movie reviews say. I thought it was hilarious from beginning to end! Wahlberg was awesome and Farrell was as usual, Samuel L Jackson and the Rock were perfect. Great casting and great lines. Everyone had one line that was killer to make you laugh. I would see this again and I would buy it.

  I love Will Ferrel and was stoked to see this movie as I heard it was funny. Unfortunately there was only a few really funny scenes and the rest was overacted fillers. Will Ferrel is great in his character but the movie itself and the jokes were a let down. I'd have to say it's one of his worst movies and I've seen them all.

  A funny movie. Not without minor flaws and drawbacks, but I found it funny and pleasant to watch. Maybe being aware that it was a bit of a spoof of other cop movies made it easier to enjoy. I didn't expect anything other than some funny, which I got. I expected both actors to be less entertaining than they were, and was happy with the film, although some others in the audience laughed rather mildly. I think this is something closer to a guy movie, so girls might need to humor their guys and try and enjoy it with that understanding. It is pleasantly funny anyway. I think 3.8 stars would be closer to the truth.

  Im usually not a big will farrell fan but he was fantastic in this movie!! It was very funny and I would watch it again for sure!
